Candle care is essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable burning experience. For optimal performance and longevity of your Dahlia candle, please follow the guidance below:

Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch long. Doing so will help prevent a large flame, soot, or smoke buildup and it will also help with your candle’s longevity.

  • Be sure to burn your candle on a sturdy surface and in a draft-free environment.
  • The size of your room matters in regard to the strength of the fragrance and scent throw. Our candles are more fragrant in small to medium size rooms.
  • Our candles produce more scent throw after a burn time of approximately 30 minutes.
  • Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets.
  • Keep the wax pool free of debris such as wick trimmings, matches, or other flammable materials.
  • We recommend burning your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time to ensure the best performance.
  • Stop burning your candle when there is ¼ inch of wax remaining. Doing so will reduce the risk of glass breakage and help keep your candle in top condition for future use.

Wax melts are a great way to enjoy fragrances in your home or office without the use of candles. To ensure your wax melts last as long as possible, follow these simple care instructions:

  • Always store wax melts away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. This will help maintain their scent and keep their shape.
  • Remove all packaging before melting your wax.
  • The size of your room matters in regard to the strength of the fragrance and scent throw. If your room is larger this will require more wax melts.
  • The use of proper equipment to melt your wax is essential. Only use tea-light warmers or UL listed electric warmers approved for wax melts. Read and follow all instructions listed for your warmer before use.
  • Do not use your stove, microwave, or non-approved appliances to melt wax.
  • Be sure not to add to many wax melts to your warmer. This can cause overflowing of wax and hazardous spills.
  • Never leave melted wax unattended around children or pets.

By following these guidelines, you can enjoy your Dahlia candles and Wax Melts safely and responsibly.
